Shinchoku Volleyball Club

Lauryn is from Northern California but is currently living in Las Cruces, New Mexico attending New Mexico State University.  She is a defensive specialist on the NMSU volleyball team and also has experience at the club and high school levels.  Lauryn was named the Most Valuable Player on the Novato High School Varsity Volleyball Team and member of the NHS Distinguished Scholastic Team,  Scholar Athlete, All-Team Honorable Mention and given the Volleyball Standout Award multiple years in a row

Lauryn was also recognized as the Novato Volleyball Most Inspirational Player in 2018.  She says she is super excited about being a part of this club and coaching alongside Coach Rubio because he has so much  knowledge. “Giving your players constructive feedback and taking time to breakdown the technical skills is important for growth. My coaching style is fun but also very competitive. I am a player’s coach and love to get to know the athletes but when it’s time to work I am all about business,” says Taylor.
