Shinchoku Volleyball Club

Alana grew up in San Diego, California so it only makes sense that she has experience playing both indoor at the high school level and sand club volleyball. As a member of the Wave Volleyball Club in Del Mar, California Alana played beach volleyball for several years and coached club there as well.

Alana now attends New Mexico State University and is a setter on the  NMSU Volleyball Team.  “I am excited to be a part of Rubio’s club because he is an awesome coach and has a very high volleyball IQ. I can’t wait to coach, so I can help athletes train and improve their skills! To me a good coach is able to create a good bond with their players and help their players reach their full potential. I am a very positive, enthusiastic, goal-oriented, and competitive person. I want to create a super competitive, but fun environment in the gym,” says Embry.
